Your place of residence or home address is where you ordinarily live, where you think of as home or have adopted as home. You must have ID with that address to register and vote.
Once you have decided on your place of residence:
Register to vote or update your address at elections.ca
Make a plan to vote
Vote before election day
At your assigned polling station in the riding where you are registered on advance polling days
At any Elections Canada office across Canada (deadlines apply)
Apply to vote by mail (deadlines apply)
Vote on election day
At your assigned polling station in the riding where you are registered
Make sure to bring ID when you go to vote
