Elections Canada Office Workers

Description: The financial officer implements the financial processes at the Elections Canada office and presents to the RO complete and accurate financial information using the Returning Office Payment System and Sites (ROPS/SITES) application.

Key activities

prepares the payroll and all poll worker and landlord accounts using ROPS/SITES
assigns poll workers to confirmed polling sites
at the RO's request, confirms polling sites and updates the database of electoral facilities using ROPS/SITES
tracks payment of training fees
prepares financial reports at the RO's request

prepares supplier and travel claims
provides administrative support for the procurement of essential services, office equipment and supplies
responds to questions and requests regarding financial activities within the electoral district
makes sure that personal information provided by employees and suppliers is secure
performs any other financial activity requested by the RO or Field Finance at Elections Canada headquarters

Pay

$30.18 per hour
